Purpose
This is help site for XMPP Status Bot for Amarok.
What?
If you see this page and you are confused because you wanted to talk to your friend read on. Your friend is probably currently offline and your message was delivered to the program he uses to control his favorite music player. Your message was lost and you have to try latter. In the meantime - you can read about XMPP Status Bot for Amarok.
Available commands
- auth secret
- You must authenticate to the bot providing secret. Until you do that you will not be able to remotly control Amarok. You can share your secret with your friends to let them operate your amarok. :)
- help
- Prints link to this page. You probably know this one, don't you? ;-)
- next
- Skip current song and go to the next one.
- pause
- Pause playing.
- play
- Start playing.
- prev
- Go to the previous song.
- stop
- Stop playing.
Many new commands will be available in next (0.4) version. If you want to try them now use current git version and look into the source for a string xmppMessage. There you'll find things you can play with.
